How to Setup the Phone Lock Code on Samsung Galaxy S3

Another way of protecting your Samsung Galaxy S3 from accessing your messages, photos etc. by other people is by using its lock code feature. There are different type of lock codes that Samsung Galaxy S3 has like the swipe, pattern, PIN, Password and Face Recognition. To set this up, you can just follow the steps below.

1. Go to Apps
2. Go to Settings
3. Go to Security
4. Go to Screen Lock

To setup the swipe lock code feature, just tap on Swipe and that's it.  

To setup the Pattern lock code feature: 

1. Select Pattern
2. Connect at least 4 dots on your screen
3. Tap on Continue
4. Do the pattern you created
5. tap on Confirm

To setup the PIN lock code feature:

1. Tap on PIN
2. Type in the lock code you desire
3. Tap on Continue
4. Retype the lock code you entered
5. Tap on OK

To setup the Password lock code feature:

1. Select Password
2. Type in the password you desire
3. Tap on Continue
4. Retype the password
5. Tap on OK

To setup the Face Recognition lock feature:

1. Select Face Unlock
2. Tap on Set it Up
3. Tap on Continue
4. Hold your phone like your taking a picture using the front camera and make sure that your face is in the center of the circle showing on the screen
5. Wait until it recognize your face
6. Tap on Continue
